Celebrating my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary
This last week was all about honoring my parents on sixty years of marriage! That’s seems like a crazy long time, but they said it’s gone really fast. They have been together through thick and thin. My mom was 17 years old when they got married and Dad was 25.
My sister, Trina, does the flowers and decorating and I do the food. Those seem to be our strengths and then we help each other as needed. She is a very happy person…I just caught her concentrating on her task.
The photograph in this next picture is of Mom and Dad on their 50th anniversary. Mom was using a walker because she had broken her leg, Dad walks in with bandages all over him and a sling on his arm! Oh boy!
Here are a couple food photos. I got so busy that I forgot to get more pictures.
Here is a picture of the happy couple with their sixty years younger selves! That was hard to say…
Mom and Dad with most of their family around them.
… and they lived happily ever after.
